Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team. The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Assist in creating and managing marketing content for social media, websites, and newsletters.

• Help coordinate social media posts, including content scheduling and engaging with followers.

• Support market research activities by collecting data and summarising findings.

• Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns, tracking key deliverables and timelines.

• Aid in monitoring website and social media metrics and preparing performance reports.

• Assist in the development of marketing collateral, including product promotions and promotional materials.

• Collate and distribute marketing materials to ensure they are accessible to the team.

• Assist in updating and maintaining the resource library, ensuring all materials are current and accessible.

• Provide support in organising promotional events, including logistics and material preparation.

• Assist in proofreading marketing materials to ensure clarity and consistency.

• Aid in website maintenance by ensuring content and product information are up to date.

• Stay informed about social media trends to support content strategy and recommendations.

• Other marketing tasks as determined by the Marketing Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in creating engaging marketing content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials.

• Familiarity with analysing metrics and data to help evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies.

• Understanding of social media platforms and trends, with some experience in managing accounts.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

• Attention to detail in tasks such as proofreading and maintaining marketing collateral, ensuring accuracy and quality.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and collaborating with external partners.

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, WordPress and HubSpot is a plus for contributing to the creation of visually appealing marketing materials and managing campaigns.
