Key Responsibilities:

User Experience Design:

Design user interfaces for cloud technology products that are visually appealing, intuitive, and user-friendly.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design concepts and solutions.
Create, maintain and utilise design systems to produce designs
Ensure consistency in design across all product interfaces.

User Research:

Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points.
Utilise a variety of research methods, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and analytics.
Communicate research findings to the team and stakeholders.
Analyse research data and translate insights into actionable design improvements.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the product's user base and key behaviours.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure user experience considerations are integrated into the product development process.
Present design concepts and research findings to the team and stakeholders.
Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices.

Design Strategy and Planning:

Contribute to the development of UX design strategies that align with product goals and user needs.
Participate in the creation and maintenance of design systems, guidelines and standards.
Iteration and Improvement:
Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and performance metrics.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design and research.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Design - UX, Interaction, Graphic or a related field.
Proven experience as a UX Designer and Researcher, preferably in the cloud technology domain.
Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design and research projects.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma preferred).
Proficiency in using design systems.
Experience with user research methodologies and tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their applications.

Experience designing for enterprise-level products or services.
