We are now seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Marketing Executive to join our energetic Sales and Marketing team in a full time permanent capacity.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

Contributing to the achievement of the overall hotel revenues with a keen focus on Food and beverage and leisure accommodation package marketing
Ensuring that the hotel's brand objectives are achieved through the execution of all marketing and PR activities
Managing external and internal communications of the hotel across all mediums
To have a strong and demonstrated understanding of E-Commerce/digital marketing (SEO, PPC & Social)
Raise the profile of Stamford Plaza Melbourne in the local, regional and national markets through innovative communication, concepts and direct marketing activities
Implement and deliver a 12 month rolling hotel marketing calendar and budget that will enhance the hotels profile and maximise all hotel revenue streams
To be the design, curator and producer of all in-house communication pieces *With some external communication pieces prepared through the hotels design agency *
To prepare strong and innovative copy and content for all communication pieces with a keen focus on eDMs and press releases

Stamford Plaza Melbourne is looking for a marketer who has:

Tertiary qualification in Marketing (highly desirable)
Previous experience in the hospitality industry (highly desirable)
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Marketing professional within the service industry (highly desirable)
Competent computer skills with Microsoft Office and Adobe design suite
Graphic design experience (highly desirable)
Strong accuracy and attention to detail that ensure the hotel is always viewed in a positive light
An ability to work under pressure and in quick to market environment
Exceptional organizational skills and an ability to follow tasks from conception through to completion
Proactive with a positive focus and a passion for hospitality and travel
