Senior Correspondence Developer
The purpose of the Senior Correspondence Developer role is to drive best practice template and repository management, demonstrate advanced templating capability (analyse, build, maintain and improve templates), and provide support, advice and coaching in best practice templating approaches and methodologies in a leading cloud CCM software solution.
This includes bringing a coaching / advisory mindset to the customers of the Customer Correspondence CoE whilst ensuring all communications meet compliance, brand and style guidelines. This role will also act as the guardians of templating best practice, providing advice on optimal template development to change requestors and stakeholders within the Customer Correspondence Team. This role will work closely with roles such as governance, marketing, platform teams, external programming vendors and WNS (as required).
What you'll do
- Develop and provide advice on correspondence templating best practice to change requestors, stakeholders within the Customer Correspondence Team and WNS / offshore partners (as required)
- Drive best practice template and repository management, ensuring that best practice templating approaches are adhered to (e.g. minimise additions of new templates)
- Drive and manage relationships with WNS / offshore partners (as required)
- Maintain standards for templating both within the Customer Correspondence Team and within WNS
- Onboarding, cross skilling and technical queries of team members and partners, including creation of onboarding and learning framework and artefacts specific to templating
- Ensure estimates for work are in line with process and procedures required for testing, sign off to reduce incidents of non-compliance/reportable breaches
What you'll bring
- 2+ years’ experience in coding, configuration, and design (Advanced HTML and JavaScript)
- 5+ years’ experience in templating, generating communications for customers, mail merge and/or email / marketing distribution systems in leading CCM solutions such as Thunderhead/SmartCOMM (preferred), Quadient or OpenText Exstream
- Solid understanding of XML/XSD schemas
- Experience in website programming and/or in print and/or any high-volume outbound communications systems/industry
- Experience in CCM and integrating with insurance or banking systems (Protect, ClaimCenter and Hogan)
- Experience using Online Reporting Tools, SharePoint, Confluence and JIRA highly desirable
