This position will pre-dominantly be based at Commonwealth Bank's state of the art Eveleigh office although we also provide flexible working conditions and also provide the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for L2 operations and support across the Group for the Microsoft Defender, tools and processes to meet security standards and policies.
- Advise and influence project sponsors and stakeholders on appropriate design, adoption of standardised technology services, and appropriate technology lifecycle
- Identify and mitigate issues or risks associated with design or solution proposals
- Operational hygiene is maintained focused on customer outcomes, reduction of incidents, change control, problem management. Also includes drive shift left initiatives and self-service opportunities.
- Contribute to the documenting of current infrastructure services in order to ensure better future technology roadmaps
Your skills and experience:
You are a Microsoft Defender SME with specialised knowledge of support, ideally gained in a financial institution. You’re a strong communicator who thrives on delivering exceptional service to your customers and works to continually evolve and develop technology, processes and overall service improvements. You’re a natural leader, able to set an example to more junior members of the team whilst supporting them in their career development. You’re a strategic thinker, not only looking at what we do, but HOW we do it.
Essential Technical Skills:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in managing Microsoft Defender & Windows Security
- Exceptional Microsoft Windows troubleshooting skills
- Experience with power-shell scripting, automation and process documentation
- MS Active Directory management, AzureAD and O365
- Modern Workplace mobility management including Intune, SCCM and Autopilot deployment
- Knowledge in Application Control
- Engineering knowledge and broad experience across technology disciplines, including IT service management (ITIL), and business process, information and security products
- Knowledge in Devops and Jira desirable
