About the role:
As a Sales Executive focusing on channel partners, you'll play a pivotal role in driving business growth for Tyro by collaborating closely with partner managers and their respective partners. Your primary responsibilities will include nurturing relationships with assigned contacts within partner organisations to facilitate the sales cycle and secure business for Tyro. Additionally, you'll leverage your business development expertise to identify and cultivate new partner and customer opportunities.
This role will require regular contact with partners, both in-person and remotely, with occasional interstate travel. Face-to-face meetings will be essential for building strong rapport and maximising collaboration. Your efforts will contribute directly to expanding Tyro's market presence and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships.
Please note that this role requires proficiency in Mandarin.
What you'll do:
- Increasing key metrics across your assigned contact portfolio
- Increasing adoption of Tyro solutions across your assigned contact portfolio
- Self generating both new partners and opportunities
- Effectively maintaining and updating pipeline in Salesforce
- Working with sales team of partners and closing leads received from the partner network
- Collaborating with broader channel teams to educate them on partners solutions and potential opportunities across the Tyro ecosystem
- Occasionally travel to meet partners or attend events
What you'll bring:
- Bi-lingual - must be able to speak Mandarin and English fluently
- A few year of Business Development experience
- Deep understanding of intermediary/channel sales methodology
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate and engage well with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong ability to quickly articulate current situations and to manage expectations with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in using Salesforce or other CRM/sales systems.
- Organised, self-motivated and adaptable, with a professional attitude
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills across multiple communication mediums
- Comfortable working with Cross-functional teams
