About the Role
Based at Ironbark’s Humpty Doo Digital Literacy Centre, the Projects Coordinator plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing culturally inclusive community projects. These projects aim to prepare participants for employment through tailored training, skill development, and qualification pathways. You will oversee project compliance, ensure alignment with organisational goals, and foster meaningful stakeholder relationships.
What you will do
In this role, you will lead the planning and delivery of literacy and digital literacy projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and timeframes. You will oversee project proposals, budgets, and risk assessments while maintaining compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards and organisational policies. A key focus will be on improving digital literacy and aligning project activities with employment outcomes.
You will also manage a team of Activities Supervisors, providing training, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative workplace culture. By engaging with stakeholders, community groups, and training providers, you will create impactful projects that address community needs and priorities. Additionally, you will ensure all administrative and reporting tasks are completed accurately and on time, contributing to the success and sustainability of the program.
We are looking for a suitable applicant who has:
• Relevant qualifications in Business Administration, IT, or Design & Technology
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively
• Proven leadership experience, including mentoring and managing small teams
• The ability to manage complex projects, meet deadlines, and solve problems independently
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, including budgeting and compliance
• A high level of digital literacy and the ability to implement and manage digital initiatives
• Experience in client service roles, including managing conflict and providing high-quality support
• Previous experience with the Community Development Program (CDP) or similar initiatives (highly desirable)
