About the role:
Our team is growing fast and embracing new challenges, so we're looking to hire a new Lead Digital Marketing Consultant to take us to the next level.
This is a critical role in the growth of our company. As a senior member of the Consulting team, you will be given the opportunity to elevate the agency to new heights of excellence.
Reporting directly to the Managing Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:
Complex campaign delivery - you will deliver complex client campaigns, providing insightful campaign strategy, planning actionable campaign sprints, performing detailed research and analysis, and taking a full-service and multi-channel approach to building robust digital marketing ecosystems. You will have the ability to autonomously deliver against strategic business priorities, while responding to changing business needs in an agile and dynamic manner, ultimately delivering exceptional campaign outcomes.
Technical excellence - as the Lead Digital Marketing Consultant, you will be a technical powerhouse across the full suite of digital marketing channels and measurement frameworks, possessing expert level capabilities in SEO, Google Ads, Social Ads, Organic Social, Remarketing, Email Marketing, and Analytics, as well as a strategic working knowledge of broader marketing disciplines. You will be a senior authority for technical campaign troubleshooting, embrace difficult problem-solving, and set an impressively high standard for quality.
Complex project planning – you will be adept at project planning and execution, possessing the ability to implement campaigns in a hands-on capacity, while simultaneously managing team resources as client and project lead. You will possess an informed understanding of the operational and financial realities of commercial ventures, having the ability to get runs on the board that meet short-term KPIs, while making consistent and steady progress towards the bigger picture.
Complex account management – as the Lead Digital Marketing Consultant, you will foster positive and productive relationships with complex client accounts, providing a primary point of contact, facilitating campaign strategy meetings, solving complex client issues, remediating problem accounts, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. You will take a proactive approach to demonstrating value, retaining clients, and growing the customer base.
Leadership – you will provide leadership through example by setting the standard for high-performance achievement, inspiring, challenging, and supporting the Consulting team to achieve their goals. As a natural leader and persuasive communicator, the Lead Digital Marketing Consultant will champion the mission and purpose of the business, celebrate the culture and values of the team, and assist in the recruitment and training of new team members as required.
Product and service innovation – the Lead Digital Marketing Consultant will help to build and maintain a centre of operational excellence, leveraging their innovative mindset to contribute to the research and development of new digital marketing technology and processes, the design of new products and services, the continual improvement of operational systems, and the evolution of our knowledge base.
What we’re looking for:
We’re seeking someone with 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably with agency experience, ideally combined with tertiary qualifications in marketing, media, or other associated disciplines. Additional digital marketing coursework or master’s level degrees will be looked upon favourably.
You will have demonstrated expert-level capabilities in the effective use of digital marketing channels, tools, and techniques, and can demonstrate your abilities through your proven and impressive track record. Specifically, you will have expert-level experience in SEO, Google Ads, Social Ads, Organic Social, Remarketing, Email Marketing, Analytics, and Reporting.
You will also have a strategic working knowledge of Brand, UX, Web Design, Web Development, Copywriting, and Graphic Design, which when combined with your advanced Data, Analysis, and Reporting capabilities, gives you an exceptional understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem.
The Lead Digital Marketing Consultant will have demonstrated project planning and account management capabilities within complex environments. You will be a natural problem solver, having the ability to respond to business and role-specific challenges in a way that showcases sound judgement, decision-making ability, a deep understanding of operational business requirements.
