Where the team fits in
The Franchise Marketing Campaign Manager role sits within the Franchise Marketing Team, who are focused on driving successful local marketing outcomes for our Mortgage Choice and Smartline mortgage broker networks. This team forms part of the Corporate Communications, Events and Marketing team within Financial Services, headed up by Sally Chadwick. You’ll be part of a collaborative team helping us deliver great results for our brokers, showcasing the Mortgage Choice brand.
As Franchise Marketing Campaign Manager you’ll be responsible for developing and managing scalable broker marketing initiatives to support the broker network with lead generation and customer retention strategies as part of their ongoing local area marketing activity. This role is also responsible for delivering marketing support across a number of marketing disciplines and ongoing education and training on local marketing activities. You will focus on supporting our 900+ mortgage broker network with pro-active campaign initiatives to drive further broker engagement with the marketing tools and resources available to them.
What the role is all about
- Managing a team of two including a digital marketing coordinator and a local marketing coordinator
- Driving and owning the franchise marketing campaign strategy for tactical and broker-led initiatives across digital, social and traditional channels.
- Leading two major tactical national to local campaigns working alongside Financial Services Marketing teams and building relationships within wider REA Group for additional placement opportunities
- Assess the performance of online and offline campaigns, using insights to help inform the planning and execution of future franchise marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Developing strategic broker-led marketing ‘off-the-shelf’ toolkits and initiatives for lead generation and customer retention such as customer and business referral campaigns, local sponsorship programs, offline local area marketing activity and building a local activation and event framework for brokers to implement within their marketing plan.
- Oversee content creation for brokers to leverage across their social and digital platforms.
- Manage two major marketing platforms including stakeholder management, system development and best practice implementation: Marq for broker design and template customisation and Birdeye for broker digital activity across Google Business Profile listings, reviews and surveys.
- Maximising our broker network digital and local footprints across broker owned channels to create a well informed and engaged community and building and implementing digital and traditional marketing strategies.
- Be the voice of our brokers to ensure that all franchise marketing campaigns are designed with their needs in mind and working closely with the Local Marketing Manager and Lifecycle Marketing Manager to inform proactive solutions for broker marketing success.
- Ensure that all policy documentation is current and compliant for all local area marketing activity we’re encouraging our broker network to undertake.
- Understand and adhere to franchisor and regulatory requirements and ensure our brokers do too
Who we’re looking for
- 6+ years campaign marketing experience, with franchising or agency experience preferred.
- Experience managing direct reports or prior coaching knowledge
- Solid understanding of lead generation activities and previous experience leading multichannel campaigns
- A great communicator, able to present confidently, liaise with stakeholders across multiple functions and manage client expectations
- Ability to work autonomously, confidently communicating ideas and managing stakeholders
- Someone results orientated, who loves to be creative and is digitally driven
- Works productively in a fast paced and agile environment
- Sound understanding of drivers of performance across internal and external marketing channels, to drive awareness, engagement, and acquisition.
- A background in campaign development and project management including digital and social content strategy is ideal
