Position: Web Development Intern
Business Web Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Web Development Intern to join our team in Canberra, Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic web development environment.
As a Web Development Intern, you will work closely with our experienced team of developers to assist in the creation and maintenance of websites for our clients. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in areas such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress.
This internship will provide you with valuable real-world experience, as well as the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and enhance your portfolio. You will also have the chance to collaborate with other interns and team members, allowing you to expand your network and learn from others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of websites for clients using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and implement creative solutions for web development projects
- Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure websites are functioning properly and meeting client requirements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web development
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project goals are met
- Contribute to the overall success of the team by taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with WordPress is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Passion for web development and eagerness to learn and grow
This is a 3-6 month internship with the potential for a full-time position upon completion. This is an unpaid internship, but we are happy to work with your school to provide academic credit if applicable.
