As a member of the ASX test team, you will work closely with developers, support analysts and business analysts in reviewing and updating existing test cases, automation of test cases, creating new test cases, test planning and execution, managing defects, reporting on progress and escalating issues to the Test Lead.
What you will be doing:
- Planning and development of quality test approach, test design and test cases for Trading Platform.
- Implement and execute test cases according to documented test design and time frames.
- Document results and report defects.
- Work closely with BAs, Developers, Support Analysts and Business Stakeholders to ensure understanding of the requirements and to communicate test status and issues.
- Document test results for sign off so releases can get promoted to production.
- Being an active member of the QE&T Community of Practice (CoP).
What you will bring:
Must have
- Have about 10-12 years of testing experience.
- In-depth testing experience in a structured environment.
- Experience in system, system integration, regression, end-to-end, & parallel testing.
- Experience in testing futures/derivatives products or clearing systems.
- Experience in test environment and test data setup.
- Worked as part of medium to large sized project teams.
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA and confluence.
- Ability to multi-task and be comfortable with frequently changing priorities.
Nice to have:
- Experience in Financial Markets
- Agile experience
- Exposure to test automation and test automation tools
- Experience working in a CI/CD environment
