About the role
The successful candidate will have the ability to develop a collaborative sales forecast, which analyses the customer demand for products accurately, allowing the business to make informed decisions regarding procurement, production, and distribution. This role will work closely with the Head of Trade Marketing to build and execute the right 4P strategies by channel and customer using industry in-market and shopper data tools.
Some of the main responsibilities will include:
- Maintain Item Master Data management, ensuring that information is available on time, correct and complete for all relevant systems and adjacent functions
- Deliver reporting and insights that enhance the businesses understanding of category performance and enable fact based commercial decision making/strategy formulation
- Demand forecasting using historical data, market trends, and statistical models to generate accurate forecasting
- Monitor and adjust forecasts as needed to reflect changes in market conditions or business strategies
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations and other relevant departments to gather information and insights that impact demand
- Collect and review new product and new component information required for creation and load them into systems from gate to launch
- Support sales team / Head of Trade Marketing in development of customer reviews and NPD presentations as required
- Track mailers/catalogues for key customers
- Attend relevant meetings, SMAP, S&OP, Business updates
- Maintain and publish monthly PharmaCare Price List update
- Ad hoc projects as required
