- Champion Frontend SRE Practices: Implement and advocate for Frontend SRE practices, collaborating with engineers and product owners to prioritise reliability in the product roadmap.
- Drive Engineering Excellence: Contribute to a culture of quality by upholding best-in-class engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Solve Complex Challenges: Leverage your engineering expertise to tackle complex technical problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Embrace Agile Collaboration: Thrive in an agile environment, actively participating in team processes and contributing to continuous improvement.
- Own the Code: Take end-to-end ownership of your code, from inception and development through to production and beyond.
- Be Part of Digital Transformation: Play a key role in Woolworths' digital transformation journey, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in Frontend SRE practices
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript and Frontend development concepts
- Hands-on experience with React.js and Angular (V2+)
- Solid experience in Unit Testing principles
- REST APIs
- Always-on microservice architectures
- Strong MS SQL Server including performance optimisation
- Proficiency in HTML5/CSS3 and SCSS/SASS for creating responsive designs
- Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux, NgRx or Context API.
- Azure cloud experience or another cloud provider
- Strong experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, DevOps, automation, SRE principles
- Strong understanding of web security (OWASP TOP10, etc.)
