Job Description
The Risk Management officer will:
- Update Fund risk profiles covering all types of risks the managed Funds are exposed to, as well as the investment compliance limits.
- Participate to the review of investment transactions from a risk management perspective by performing pre-trade investment compliance controls.
- Monitor the Funds’ risk exposures are in line with the Fund risk profile and investment restrictions (including leverage), and escalate any deviations identified.
- Participate to the production of risk reports and other deliverables at the attention of the governing bodies of the Funds under management and the AIFM senior management.
- Support the Luxembourg team with the Annex IV service in collecting the accounts/NAV packs on an NAV frequency basis and reviewing the Annex IV reports.
- Escalate significant risk management deficiencies and issues to the Head of Risk Management.
- Provide support to the Risk Management team for any ad-hoc requests received from various stakeholders.
Key competencies for position and level
Getting things right and doing the right thing lie at the core of our AIFM team as they make sure we’re always consistent and comply with current financial regulations. While the role is focusing on risk management, you will need to be a master organizer, enjoy variety and a methodical planner.
You’ll need to be thorough in all you do, using your own judgment to highlight any significant findings and escalate if rules and regulations are breached. Attention to detail is a must to have.

Building relationships across the business is a must have to succeed and be effective in this role.
