As we scale our enterprise business, we need a Commissions Manager to design, implement, and optimize commission structures that drive performance, support enterprise expansion, and align with our long-term growth strategy. You’ll work closely with Revenue Operations, Finance, and Leadership to ensure commission structures are fair, motivating, and aligned with company objectives.
How you will spend your time:
- Commission Plan Design & Strategy
- Design and implement new commission structures for Sales and CS teams to drive performance and retention.
- Maintain and optimize existing commission plans, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry benchmarks.
- Collaborate with leadership to define on-target earnings (OTE), accelerators, and bonus structures that incentivize the right behaviours.
Commission Administration & Reporting
Own the end-to-end commission calculation process, ensuring accuracy and timely payouts.
Work with FP&A to ensure commission accruals, forecasts, and payments are properly accounted for.
Partner with Revenue Operations to integrate commission structures into CRM and compensation tools for automation and efficiency.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Process Improvement
Act as the go-to expert for all commission-related queries from Sales, CS, and Finance teams.
Continuously evaluate commission effectiveness, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Implement feedback loops with leadership and team members to refine and enhance commission structures.
About you:
- Experience in commission plan design & administration within Sales, CS, or Revenue Operations.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in Excel/Google Sheets, CRM (Salesforce preferred), and commission software.
- Deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles, multi-year contracts, and expansion strategies.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- A data-driven, problem-solving mindset, always looking for ways to improve efficiency and fairness in commission structures.
