About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and results-oriented Product Owner – Salesforce to join our Connections and Billing Improvements team. You will be at the forefront of delivering continuous improvement initiatives across the Salesforce platform, enhancing operational efficiency, improving both customer and agent experiences, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role requires strategic thinking, agile delivery expertise, and strong stakeholder engagement across AGL’s diverse business units, including Energy and Telco, Retail Transformation, and Digital & Technology teams.
As the Salesforce Product Owner, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end delivery of key initiatives, refining the product backlog, and ensuring seamless implementation of enhancements. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping AGL’s Salesforce capabilities while driving tangible business outcomes and customer value.
This role is a six-month contract.
What you will do:
- Act as the Product Owner for Salesforce initiatives, overseeing end-to-end delivery, ensuring high-quality implementations within budget and timelines.
- Refine and manage the product backlog, prioritize features based on business value, and align them with AGL’s future state architecture and strategies.
- Drive Agile delivery through scrum teams, defining the implementation roadmap, and ensuring continuous iterations of enhancements and new functionalities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless engagement throughout the change journey and maintaining full visibility of the delivery pipeline.
- Provide subject matter expertise, ensuring technical and business decisions are informed by accurate, up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce and related systems.
- Monitor post-implementation outcomes, proactively identifying and resolving any unintended operational, compliance, or customer impacts.
What we would like to see you bring:
- Minimum of 5 years of operational experience within the energy and/or telecommunications sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in Salesforce and SAP, with a strong understanding of Retail Next Phase 1 solutions and AGL’s data sync processes (highly desirable).
- Proven track record in Agile methodology and Lean/Six Sigma process improvement, with experience leading cross-functional project delivery teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse teams to achieve project goals.
- Strategic thinker with a focus on operational excellence, delivering scalable, foundational technological and process improvements.
