We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as a Regional Security Manager reporting to the Senior Manager -Protective Security.
The Regional Security Manager (RSM) is responsible for conducting security site reviews, risk assessments, audits, incident management, and contract management. The RSM must effectively communicate security measures within a large organization, influence stakeholders, and champion nbn values. Key responsibilities include managing security guarding services, coordinating security duties at nbn sites, and addressing performance issues. The role involves frequent site visits, incident management, and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
The RSM must work autonomously, handle 24/7 responsibilities, and travel regionally and interstate. Key accountabilities include developing site security plans, security planning for facilities, conducting site reviews, maintaining stakeholder relationships, incident response, and administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate will have good years of experience with government security design principles and measures, and current knowledge of IT-based physical security management systems like Enterprise Business Integrator (EBI). They must have extensive experience in security operations, including incident investigation, reporting, and site reviews.
Strong communication and influencing skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
