About the Team
Overflowing with expertise, Group Services keeps MYOB highly tuned and up and running. Made up of several specialised teams including commercial, finance, legal and risk, these are the professionals who drive our business performance, while always ensuring we’ve dotted our I's and crossed our T's!
The Role
- Ownership of the MYOB -Roubler Group’s end-to-end operational accounting processes across ANZ, South Africa, UK and Singapore
- Completion and review of General Ledger reconciliations and journal entries.
- Prepare and process monthly customer billing and assist support team with customer query resolution
- Prepare monthly debtors ageing reporting to support sales and collections teams
- Supporting the annual external audit process, across all regions.
- Engage with senior partners, such as the General Manager, Commercial finance partner and Head of Sales
- Driving process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
What You'll Bring
- Solid understanding of core accounting principles and the application of those principles
- Use initiative to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Intellectual curiosity and an interest in learning.
- Ability to apply strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
- A positive, proactive, confident and ‘can-do’ demeanour.
- Proven track record in a role that required completion of end to end operational accounting tasks
- Ability to build and maintain strategic working relationships with both internal and external partners at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to engage with senior stakeholders across the business.
- CA / CPA qualified.
