The Opportunity:
As a post-sales Solutions Engineer, you’ll be a critical technical resource and a strategic partner for our clients for the long-term, working closely with customers to ensure the successful implementation, integration, and ongoing optimisation of our platform. Your expertise will help our customers achieve maximum value from Gridsight, driving success and fostering lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Post-Sales Implementation:
- Lead the technical onboarding process, ensuring smooth deployment and integration of the platform.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and customise the solution for their business needs.
- Provide guidance on system setup, data migration, and integration with third-party tools.

Solution Customisation and Configuration:
- Tailor the platform to meet customer-specific workflows, reporting, and integration needs.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to implement custom features and ensure optimal platform usage.
- Advise customers on best practices for leveraging the platform’s capabilities.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
- Analyse system performance, configuration, and integrations to identify and resolve issues quickly.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to address high-priority technical escalations.

Customer Training and Enablement:
- Develop and deliver tailored training sessions to ensure customers are proficient in using the platform.
- Create and maintain training materials, including user guides and video tutorials, to support customer education.
Basic Qualifications:

Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; equivalent experience in a technical role may also be considered.

Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering, Power Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Account Management role, preferably in an Enterprise SaaS or utilities-focused environment.
- Hands-on experience with SaaS implementations, data integration, and cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) nice to have.
- Experience in the electricity utilities or energy sector is a plus.

Technical Skills:
- At a minimum, a basic understanding of the electricity network and basic electrical engineering.
- General understanding of system integration, APIs, data management, and cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with SQL, scripting languages, and data processing tools.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to build lasting relationships and drive customer success.
