- Conduct hands on modelling/ advanced analytics retrieving, compiling, and analysing data from various sources into distilled, actionable information. Major model types include time series sales analysis and logistical regression analysis.
- Handle the delivery of modeling projects throughout the process from data collection, data cleaning and modeling to presentation. Develop recommendations and clearly communicate results of analysis to internal / external teams.
- Manage client requests and expectations for analytics projects.
- Identify opportunities to leverage analytical tools and platforms (E.g., R, SQL, VBA, Python) to achieve better efficiency / automation of the workstreams within MSU team.
There are three primary KPIs for this role:
- Timely delivery of data analysis, reports and presentations
- Help to create and promote an analytics culture within the team
- Support team lead to manage clients
Additional Requirements
- Educated to degree level in a numerical or marketing discipline.
- At least 8-10 years work experience in a business consultancy, market research or data analysis role.
- Fluent in English
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Familiar with one or more of R, Python or SAS. VBA is also favourable.
- Experience with database (e.g SQL) and visualization tools (e.g. power bi, tableau, Datorama)
- An in-depth understanding and prior application of econometrics would be particularly valuable.
