Do work that matters
As our Senior Enterprise Architect for Customer Channels, you will be
innovative and creative, envisioning a future state for the enterprise,
solving for the bigger picture. With a bias for action, you will deliver
tangible reference architectures that can accelerate the organisation’s
transformation.
Your key area of focus will be Customer Channels, which includes
digital mobile apps and web portals, branches, contact centre, chatbots,
digital assistants and open banking partners. Your goal is to future
proof how we connect to our customers on different devices.
You will represent Enterprise Architecture and provide subject matter
expertise on channel data and integration, consumer profiling and
identity, and be well-versed on the technologies in use to deliver these
capabilities.
In this exciting role, you will identify key strategic opportunities
where customer channel related capability uplift can drive substantial
business and customer outcomes and result in superior cross-channel
journeys.
Key responsibilities

Lead the implementation of EA strategies and best practices to
support business objectives, while focusing on business process
design, solutions, information gathering and technology utilisation.

Design enterprise architectural roadmaps, and aligns these with
enterprise strategies, business objectives, (EA) standards, processes
and methodologies.

Provide guidance on defining business capabilities and system
development (including application and integration architecture);
controlling risks and solving complex issues related to EA.

Maintain relationships with stakeholders, address stakeholder
requirements and provide clients consultations to shape the future
success of EA.

Validate solution architecture against Reference Architecture
guardrails.

Conduct research where required into new technologies to understand
the impacts on the current strategy and roadmap.

Communicate effectively at all levels from CIO/CTO/Heads of Business
to our engineers and delivery team members.
What you need to succeed
-
You are a senior Technology Strategist with a senior consulting and/or
architecture background in the Customer Channels space, ideally gained
within the Financial Services industry.

You are a person who thrives in a rapidly changing and evolving
landscape, and you keep an eye on tomorrow.
-
Setting strategic agendas and building deep relationships with product
and service owners is what you do best.
-
You are self-directed and energetic with skills to answer complex
business problems, syndicate creative ideas and gain buy in from key
business leads.

You are a natural storyteller with the use of visual presentations
and structured communications, and you are well versed at leading
workshops to an outcome.

You have a passion for great customer experience and personalisation
at scale, underpinned by a Human Centred Design mindset.

You have an advanced understanding of Enterprise Architecture, DevOps
and modern app development practices and technologies in a complex,
multi-channel environment, as well as experience of ITIL service
management, risk management, operating models and business process
modelling.

You possess tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a
related discipline, and you are qualified in relevant industry
frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, ISO), and have an understanding of, or
working towards, BIAN
