Our Purpose:
To help people live life fully
Our Vision:
We see a world where mental health care is a normal part of everyday life
Our Mission:
We are the practice that leads, lives and loves mental health
Our Values:
Connection – relationships that matter 🧍🧍♀️🧍
Relationships that matter really matter to us! We have many informal and scheduled activities that foster the development of strong connections between roles and individuals across both practices. We’d love for this role to bring some social energy to the team.
Down to Earth – Grounded, open and honest 🌏 🌳
We’re proud of our non-jargon approach to internal and external communication and are looking for someone who can communicate well with all stakeholders. We’re currently working on reducing the use of “holding space” and could do with some help finding an alternative! 🧙
Enjoyment – finding the good stuff 🥳 😎
We really resonate with the idea that ‘finding the good stuff’ is a more helpful concept for mental wellbeing than ‘happiness’. We strive every day to find and celebrate the good and look forward to the marketing coordinator being part of this culture.
Growth – learning and progressing 📈💡
Our registration as psychologists requires a minimum amount of professional development each year but all of us at Amherst Psychology would do that and more even if it wasn’t mandated! We genuinely enjoy professional learning and are looking to create more ?educational content for others.
Ownership – actively taking responsibility 👩✈️ 🧑🏫
Being right is less important to us than being mature, accountable and on-the-ball. We’re working hard to create a culture where it’s okay to have a go and ? safe to make mistakes by backing ourselves when our confidence wobbles and owning our own mis-steps.
Workable – practical for the long-term 🛣 ️🚎
Nothing gets done at Amherst Psychology without passing the, “But is it sustainable?” test. We don’t believe in setting up roles or processes without adequate support in place – which can be challenging as we have at least 3 excellent ideas every day and hope this new role will enable us to bring more of them to fruition.
