Are you an enthusiastic creative who is looking to be involved in meaningful, exciting, and engaging content, plus maintain the Club’s digital platforms? This is your chance to join Essendon Football Club (EFC) as we look to appoint a Digital Platforms Coordinator.
About the role
As our Digital Platforms Coordinator, you will produce engaging and entertaining content for the Club’s multiple digital platforms, including but not limited to website, app, and social media. You will also provide digital support to the Club’s multiple departments. Also, an understanding of the Club’s website and app is paramount to the role.
Reporting to the Head of Digital Agency, you will also:
• Be involved in the day-to-day roll out of all EFC content.
• Maintain and work on the EFC Website and App + write and produce written content.
• Contribute to all teams (AFL, AFLW, VFL, VFLW and VWFL) content.
• Produce content for Club events and match days.
About you
You will have a background in website and app management as your main priority. An excellent communicator who has a natural creative, sharp and strategic mind that can hit the ground running. You’ll pride yourself in your skills of Adobe Suite and your knowledge of web-based content management systems. Having design, writing and social media experience is encouraged, as well as having a sound knowledge of emerging platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Alongside your skills, you’ll have a strong work ethic and a preparedness to work irregular hours according to the demands of a professional football industry, including evenings and weekends.
