About the opportunity:
We are on the hunt for a driven and passionate Marketing Specialist to join our team at Glenelg BMW.
The role of Marketing Specialist is primarily responsible for implementing, maintaining, and reviewing a wide variety of marketing activities in line with the customer lifecycle. You will be exposed to both above the line marketing channels like OOH, TVC’s and radio, as well as below the line tactics like automated email and SMS marketing.
In this role you will have a reporting line into the Marketing Department and be responsible for coordinating and optimising the delivery of marketing activities across the Sales, Finance and Aftersales departments.
This multi-faceted role will allow you to utilise your diverse marketing skills and ability to analyse, create and manage media strategies, internal and external communications, customer events and end-to-end campaigns.
You will experience the benefit of working within a large marketing team full of experienced and talented marketing specialists. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their marketing career with extensive training and support provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and execution of lead generation campaigns
- Content creation and curation for various channels
- Creating and optimising multi-channel marketing campaigns and programs
- Utilisation of CRM platforms, including segmentation, tracking and reporting on data
- Drive media channels effectiveness through use of key content
- Coordinate internal and external communications in line with corporate identity guidelines
- Liaise with relevant agencies and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely completion of jobs
- Coordination of customer events with strong attention to detail
- Working with OEM’s and our agency partners
- Accurately track, manage and report on all marketing budgets and expenditures
- Develop and interpret post campaigns analysis for continuous improvement and effectiveness
- Implementation and maintenance of marketing activities across all departments in the dealership
Ideal candidates will have:
- Educated in Business Marketing
- 2-3 years marketing experience
- Automotive experience is preferred, but not essential
- Understanding of the entire marketing mix
- Experience in social media / digital advertising
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
