THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for a Content Manager to join our Growth Marketing division based in Macquarie Park Sydney, NSW.
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, your main responsibility will be to develop compelling content that will deliver lead generation and drive engagement across various channels and social media platforms. If you’re a writer at heart, passionate about storytelling, can connect emotions with solutions and services thinker - we want to hear from you!
We are looking for someone who is passionate, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is self-driven. We employ a hybrid working charter with flexible working options and 3 days/ week office attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the wider marketing team with consistent publication of content that tells impactful stories and drives engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team in research to identify content topics and support the build of an editorial calendar.
- Manage editorial schedules and deadlines within corporate and ongoing campaigns.
- Ensure consistency of brand voice and messaging across all channels.
- Develop, write, and edit engaging content for all content formats including blogs, website pages, eBooks, Case Studies, newsletter, eDM, thought leadership content, video scripts and storyboards.
- Interview internal and external subject matter experts for content creation. Be personable and a clear communicator as interviews with executive and general management will be required.
- At times you will need to manage the relationships with content agencies to support overflow of work - to ensure the quality of content delivered meets the standards, corporate guideline and initial brief requirements.
- Review performance of your content, gather insights from content analytics and report back to the team your ideas for optimisation
- Support digital team with SEO on page optimisation and website enhancements.
- Produce content for events when required includes webinar, events, roundtables.
- Create landing pages lead generation.
Skills & Attributes
- 2-3 years of experience in a B2B, software environment or agency
- Degree in Communications/Journalism
- Experience using design tools like Photoshop or Canva
- Passionate about content creation, performance, reporting, and analytics with a strong customer mindset
- Experience in B2B content marketing (solutions and software preferred) with clear examples of where your work delivered exceptional outcomes with written and/or video content.
- Exceptional writing and editorial skills, and a love for storytelling using words, images, or audio to captivate an audience.
- High attention to detail with strong project management skills, highly organized, and goal oriented.
- Ability to produce high-quality, tailored content for a range of target audience segments
