About the role
We are looking for a talented & motivated marketing search executive to join our dynamic Performance Marketing team. The search executive will play a key role in managing both paid search (SEM) and organic search (SEO) strategies across our websites, RedBalloon.com.au and Adrenaline.com.au. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for search marketing and a strong desire to drive performance and results.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the development and implementation of paid search (SEM) strategies to drive traffic, conversions, and revenue across RedBalloon.com.au and Adrenaline.com.au.
- Supporting the management of paid search campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other relevant channels, ensuring campaigns are optimised for performance and ROAS.
- Conducting keyword research, ad copy testing, and audience targeting to identify opportunities for campaign improvement and expansion.
- Monitoring and analyse paid search performance metrics, providing regular reporting and insights to the Senior Performance Manager and key stakeholders.
- Collaborating with internal teams, including brand, supply, social and merchandising, to align paid search initiatives with overall business objectives and marketing campaigns.
- Assisting in implementing link building strategies and outreach initiatives to improve domain authority and backlink profile. Seek support from Senior Performance Manager and collaborate with SEO agency and/or affiliate team.
- Supporting the monitoring and analysis of organic search performance using tools such as SEMRush, Google Search Console, and other third-party SEO platforms.
- Assisting in providing strategic recommendations and guidance to internal teams on SEO best practices and opportunities for improvement.
About you
Ideally you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Relevant coursework or certifications in digital marketing or SEO is a plus.
- Previous experience or internship in paid search (SEM) and/or organic search (SEO) management is preferred.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, analyse trends, and draw actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, organisation, and efficiency.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Passion for digital marketing and eagerness to grow and develop in the field of search marketing.
