About the Role
As Search Manager within Colgate-Palmolive, your main purpose is to manage Search across all current & future Digital platforms. Main objective is to maximize portfolio of Colgate-Palmolive brands’ ranking performance on all paid and organic search platforms, both off-platform and on-platform. You will demonstrate clear mastery of all search mechanics across Search Engine Advertising (SEA), organic search (SEO), eRetail optimization and Omni-channel customers to drive best impressions and conversion results. You’ll partner with our digital agencies, as well as our eCommerce teams (Digital Marketing & eCommerce team, Amazon & Omni-channel eCommerce commercial teams).
Please note: This role will be for a fixed term contract period of 12 months.
Responsibilities
Search off-platform (40%)
- Oral Care: working with RedFuse & APAC Division Search Manager to monitor and optimise Google / YouTube SEO & SEM for ANZ
- Personal Care & Home Care: Test & Learn Google search in-house management, starting with one category and expanding to other categories if effective.
- Social Search across categories
Search on-platform (60%)
- Amazon: managing & optimising SEO in collaboration with internal & external teams. Working initially with current agency on SEM with an objective to in-house SEM management overtime to build internal capabilities and improve plans efficiency.
- Other Brick & Clicks/ omni-channels retailers (Coles / WW etc.): managing & optimising SEO in collaboration with internal & external teams and managing SEM in-house through the Citrus platform
Education / Experience Required
Bachelor’s Degree required with 3+ years of search experience; Experience at Client or Agency leading strategic search and planning, activation of Search (SEM and SEO), CPG experience highly preferred.
Tool Requirements
Standard search industry reporting tools and ad-serving / bid Management technologies (Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Google Search Console, Google Keyword Planner, Amazon Advertising, Citrus etc.)
