Job Description
As we embrace the next phase of growth at Ippon Australia we are expanding our Experience Design practice and looking for talented UX Researchers who want to make this happen. You’ll be empowered to be involved in UX research initiatives, supporting exploratory and discovery research work, and support all user experience research activities.

On a daily basis you should expect to:
Undertake regular qualitative usability testing to help inform and iterate designs
Facilitate quantitative research to help drive decision making
Day-to-day management of research work, including designing research materials, conducting research, synthesis and reporting
Hands-on in taking briefs (or reverse briefing) to understand what key decisions are wanting to be made on the back of the research
Report back findings in an easy to understand, easy to act way, to solve pain points and/or drive better customer experiences.
Run research debrief sessions to assist in understanding the findings of the research.
Facilitate workshops, user research activities, stakeholder interviews and research critique sessions with moderated and unmoderated user testing

The skills and experience we need are:
Demonstrated experience leading UX/ Research projects with customer centred design principles and usability testing methods.
Background in usability testing, in-depth interview, contextual inquiry, diary study, ideation workshop, participatory design workshop, card sorting, tree testing
Familiarity with survey research, including card sorting, tree testing techniques
A proven track record of planning and executing a diverse range of research techniques
Comfortable with stakeholder management, presenting research findings and facilitating workshops
Exposure to customer centred design, design thinking, lean and agile practices
Excellent communication and storytelling skills
A learning growth mindset
