The Role
We are looking for a proactive Digital Marketing Assistant to support our team in executing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to develop a career in digital marketing, working alongside experienced marketers on various client projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, email marketing, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Assist in scheduling, monitoring, and engaging on social media platforms, helping grow client and Bottrell Media’s online presence.
- Content Creation: Support the development of engaging content, including social media posts, blog articles, email newsletters, and digital ads.
- Campaign Support: Assist in setting up and optimizing digital marketing campaigns, including email, search, and display ads.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on campaign performance using analytics tools to provide actionable insights.
- Research & Trends: Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to support marketing strategy development.
- Client Communication: Support client communication and engagement, ensuring timely updates and high-quality service.
Candidate Requirements
- A degree or certification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and marketing fundamentals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, MailChimp, Hootsuite, or similar).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines within a collaborative team environment.
