Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning, monitoring, analysing, and optimising Shed Bonanza's marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels. The main goal is to generate high-quality leads through strategic content creation, social media management, SEO, and both organic and paid advertising efforts. This role involves creating and managing content, engaging with customers, maintaining and updating the website, and executing email marketing campaigns. The Marketing Coordinator collaborates closely with internal teams and works with external agencies and contractors to enhance marketing strategies, including managing radio and TV ads.
Responsibilities
● SEO and SEM: Optimise website visibility and traffic using SEO strategies, including link building, keyword optimisation, and regular updates. Manage Google AdWords and SEM campaigns to attract qualified traffic.
● Social Media and Content Management: Plan, create, and schedule content for social media platforms, website, and internal communications using tools like Loomly. Engage with customers by responding to inquiries, comments and reviews.
● Lead Generation and Advertising: Implement lead generation tactics such as lead form extensions and optimise ad performance. Manage digital contests, giveaways, and projects to increase engagement.
● Radio and TV Advertising: Coordinate with external agencies to develop and execute effective radio and TV advertising campaigns.
● Website and Landing Page Management: Work with developers and designers to update and optimise landing pages and website content for better user experience and alignment with marketing objectives.
● Email Marketing: Develop, implement, and oversee email marketing campaigns using Active Campaign, ensuring effective execution and performance tracking. ● Performance Analysis and Reporting: Prepare reports on campaign performance, evaluate key metrics related to website traffic and audience engagement, and adjust strategies as needed.
● Collaboration and Strategy Development: Coordinate with internal teams and
external partners, including marketing agencies and contractors, to improve campaign results. Brainstorm and implement innovative growth strategies and provide insights into market trends.
● Brand and Customer Engagement: Ensure brand consistency across all channels and maintain positive customer interactions by managing reviews and feedback. ● KPI Management: Monitor daily KPIs to ensure all marketing efforts are aligned with business goals and performance standards.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
● Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
● Proficiency in design tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator for creating online brochures and other marketing
materials is a plus.
● Familiarity with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Active Campaign, and various marketing automation and analytics
platforms.
● Experience in digital marketing, content creation, campaign
management, copywriting, and content management.
● Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
● A creative and innovative thinker who can translate ideas into
effective marketing solutions.
● Skilled in creating compelling case studies by interviewing
customers and presenting their stories in a visually engaging
manner.
● Comfortable building and maintaining relationships with internal teams and external partners.
● Strong understanding of SEO, SMO, email marketing, and social media platforms.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage
priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
