The Role
We are seeking to engage a Digital Engineering Coordinator to join our Energy Team in ANZ. In this role you’ll work closely with DE leadership, and have responsibility for model coordination, document management, and co-development and delivery across all projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Using a combination of standard and modified modelling methods/techniques and previous project experience to solve problems
- Production of models for construction
- Develop Digital standards to be used and prepare models using standardized tools and processes
- Improvement and update of key DE documentation for sharing with SMEC’s Quality Assurance (QA) and BMS systems and processes
- Creation, management, and updates of key delivery documents (including TIDP, MIDP, MPDTs, etc.)
- Management of DEXP / Energy information Execution Plan (EiXP) including the development of compliance matrices
- Lead others to prepare project 3D, 4D & 5D models
- Curate and update digital standards and details to a knowledge-base for use by other team members
About You
Suitable applicants will be/have:
- Bachelor, Degree, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree
- Capability in Digital (BIM and CADD) technologies, including Autodesk and Bentley suite of products
- Sound technical knowledge
- Business planning, budgeting, and commercial acumen
- Proven 3D model development and management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment
- Ability to drive and adapt to changing situations
