About the Role
As Social Media Manager/Content Specialist, you'll support APC's marketing initiatives, focusing on social media management, content creation, and campaign execution. You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure consistent, high-quality marketing across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive APC's social media presence, staying ahead of trends and ensuring our platforms consistently engage and inspire our audience. You will not only post content but will also analyse performance, adjust strategies as needed, and create an ongoing dialogue with followers, ensuring they feel connected to the APC brand.
- Create high-quality, visually compelling content for digital platforms, in alignment with brand guidelines. Strong graphic design and basic video production skills are essential to capture the essence of our brand and appeal to prospective students.
- Write engaging and persuasive content, crafting clear, impactful messages across various channels. You'll need to adjust your tone and style to fit the platform and audience, ensuring that every piece of content resonates and drives engagement.
- You’ll need to collaborate effectively, bringing ideas to the table and helping to execute campaigns that are aligned with APC’s marketing goals. Managing multiple tasks with precision and ensuring that all deliverables are met on time.
- You’ll oversee the planning and promotion of marketing events, such as community engagement activities and career expos. Success here means being detail-oriented, able to juggle logistics, promotions, and post-event reporting. Additionally, monitoring and managing APC’s online reputation by responding to reviews and fostering positive engagement will be essential to building trust and credibility in our brand.

Success as a Marketing Coordinator at APC will require a blend of creativity, technical proficiency, and strategic thinking. The role is dynamic and multifaceted, where you must balance day-to-day operational tasks with long-term marketing strategies. To truly stand out, you’ll need to bring energy and passion to the role, always looking for ways to innovate.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field
- Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and engaging content
- Strong graphic design and video editing skills, combined with proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Final Cut Pro
- Highly organised, with the flexibility to pivot when needed.
- Strong project management skills - keeping campaigns on track while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
