We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing-Home Brand team and you could be what we are looking for!
Primary Function:
The Marketing Assistant performs a variety of Marketing support services, particularly in the planning and development of brand development and marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Support:
- Support the Assistant Manager, Marketing in planning and development of brand footprint/architecture, product development roadmap and brand positioning for assigned portfolio of brands and new product line up.
- Contribute to annual Marketing Plan including assessment of current brand’s performance, competitive analysis, marketing campaigns and new product launches.
- Monitor and deeply analyse competitor brand’s sales performance and pricing benchmarking of their products.
- Analyse and review the brand’s portfolio, new product extension and channel mix for future expansion plans.
- Conduct and leverage market research findings for decision-making in formulating brand strategies.
- Assist in brand communication planning and execution of advertising campaigns with external working partners such as creative and media agencies.
- Develop and prepare briefs for new packaging design, new product development and new advertising campaigns.
- Gather and analyse data using AC Nielsen, Aztec, Quantium and IRI database.
- Conduct market visits to monitor and report competitive activities and own brand performance at store level.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders such as sales and trade marketing team to understand channel dynamics and sales execution activities
- Coordinate with local marketing team on preparation and execution of below the line activities such as in store sampling, merchandising, event and trade promotion
- In close co-operation with the Trade Marketing team, identify trade needs / opportunities, develop pricing and distribution strategies in line with trade promotions for brands
- Assist in preparation and presentation of business review to senior management team as and when required.
- Track, analyze and report the results of events and marketing campaigns.
- Provide regular brand tracking information to monitor market performance, brand performance against KPI's, budget tracking
- Maintain an efficient and proper coordination, administration and tracking of A&P across all assigned brands.
- Assist in identifying new business and promotion opportunities in relation to Asian Food service channel, e.g. restaurant, café etc.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Assistant Manager, Marketing as required.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Full Australian working rights
- A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar marketing role within the FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer behaviour
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Adept at data analysis and reporting.
- Outstanding communication skills and creative flair.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Passionate about learning and self-improvement
