Main Purpose:
The Sales and Market Analyst is primarily accountable for:
• compiling, analysing, and reporting comprehensive sales data to inform strategic decision-making; and
• monitoring and evaluating competitive activity, customer trends, and market dynamics to provide actionable insights that guide the sales and marketing teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Compiling, analysing, and reporting sales data
- Monitoring and analysing competitive activity, customer, and market trends
- Providing actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing teams
- Forecasting demand, revenue, and expenses
- Determining sales potential and making recommendations
- Preparing detailed reports on consumer behaviour, competitors' activities, outcomes, and sales
- Monitoring customer bases and identifying new ones
- Working with the marketing team to inform and develop marketing strategies
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Ambition to progress to Sales management level
- Strong computer and analytical capabilities
- Experience in preparing and presenting detailed reports on sales, consumer behaviour, and market trends.
- Proven experience in compiling and analysing sales and market data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and presenting findings.
- Ability to convey complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner.
- Strong ability to analyse complex data sets and extract actionable insights.
- Self-motivated, confident and capable of engaging at all levels
- Ability to identify value enhancing opportunities
