Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch are currently seeking a highly motivated Graduate Engineers to join the Digital Group in Perth!
As the successful candidate, you will:
- Collaborate in a high-performing team creating advanced digital solutions with operations-specific focus, e.g., integrated control automation of heavy equipment for the mining industry, this includes:
- Contribute to the synthesis of new ideas and proof-of-concepts by working closely with client representatives and Hatch subject matter experts
- Capture, analyze and validate requirements with appropriate stakeholders to engineer robust and relevant solutions
- Design and develop software in a multitude of platforms including Industrial controller systems (e.g. PLC’s, vendor specific HMI’s), server applications (e.g. C#), database centric software (e.g. SQL), user interface development (e.g. web/JavaScript) and cloud (e.g. Azure).
- Perform validation activities to ensure solutions meet the required high-quality standards
- Provide on-site commissioning and ongoing offsite support (e.g. root cause analysis) for these solutions
You bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree (or working towards) in Electrical/Mechatronics/Software/Computer Science with a strong academic record
- Leadership and teamwork skills
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- An ability to think laterally and innovatively
- Flexibility to travel and work in locations within Australia and Internationally
- A passion and drive to make a real difference
