Job Description
As a Lecturer, with your outstanding academic achievement, communication, and leadership skills, you will provide teaching, research, and service to the Department in the area of Marketing.
You will assist in developing innovative curriculum options at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels; produce scholarly outputs in relevant areas of interest and offer appropriate service to the discipline, Department, the University and the community.
You will:
- Foster an outstanding student experience and encourage active participation and engagement in learning and teaching across the spectrum of the University’s undergraduate, and postgraduate program suite facilitating high quality, student-centred learning activities.
- Continuously improve teaching practice through professional development and critical reflection informed by a range of evaluation approaches.
- Foster innovation and a future-focused approach to support high quality learning and teaching outcomes for students evidenced by technology enhanced learning, problem oriented, authentic learning and assessment practices.
- Contribute to the advancement of knowledge through a building and maintaining a research portfolio of high-quality outputs that demonstrate impact.
- Develop meaningful and impactful partnerships with the broader community, by actively engaging and collaborating with external stakeholders.
About you
Hold a doctoral qualification in Marketing or a relevant discipline or field.
In addition to the above, you will demonstrate:
- Ability to network effectively to ensure that working relationships are improved both internally and with government, industry, and community stakeholders.
- Knowledge, skills and leadership in teaching and curriculum / program development at the tertiary education level, and a proven ability in the administration of university courses and programs.
- Excellent communicator, with effective communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to working in a collegial manner, contributing to a positive culture and the aspiration of the Department and the University.
Salary Range:
The full-time base salary for Lecturer (Level B) position is in the range $110,464 - $131,180 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total FTE package is in the range $129,243 - $153,481 per annum.

This is a continuing, full-time opportunity and you will primarily be based at the Griffith University Nathan campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
