Department Overview
As the responsible party for delivering high-level customer service in the QLD/NT region, your primary objective is to meet and exceed the needs of our valued customers in the Government & Enterprise, Minerals and Energy sectors. This involves establishing and nurturing strong customer relationships with both operational and senior management personnel.
Job Description
- Enhance oversight and maintenance of operational processes, disciplines, and escalation procedures, both internally and externally, to ensure compliant and efficient customer service.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting is provided to customers as per contractual requirements.
- Take ownership of resolving operational issues, including incident reports, and follow up on action items resulting from system incidents. This includes conducting informative briefings for customers.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance service quality and deliver best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually enhance service delivery.
- Enhance problem-solving skills to effectively handle dissatisfied customers.
- Develop strong decision-making abilities to address critical client queries.
- Implement effective communication strategies to understand and address customer concerns.
- Foster a customer-centric culture within the organization by emphasizing the importance of customer satisfaction and providing resources for continuous improvement.
- Strive for excellence by consistently adhering to and exceeding the quality standards set by Motorola Solutions.
Basic Requirements
GENERAL EDUCATION:
Essential:
• Certificate III or IV in Electronics / Radio Trades Certificate or relevant trade qualification (in communications, radio or electronics) or Certificate IV in Telecommunications Networks Technology
• ACMA Open Cabler License
Desirable: Associate Diploma in Electrical / Electronics or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
• Minimum of three years in a radio communication service environment.
• Understanding of RF principles and antenna system multi coupling
• Experience in the use of digital communications test equipment and interpret results such as modulation constellation or antenna sweep graphs.
• Experience in APCO25, TrBo & TETRA Digital Radio Communications environment or equivalent (both Trunked and Conventional systems including Simulcast).
• Strong customer and team focus.
Desirable:
• Experience in dispatch console systems, logging environments and other PMR systems (DMR etc).
• Understanding of IP networking principles
• Motorola digital network and subscriber product knowledge.
