This is a PART-TIME (4 days/week) LEAVE COVER role based in MELBOURNE.
Enough about us! What you’ll do as a Publicist at Paramount:
Reporting into the Head of Publicity, this role is responsible for the planning, developing and delivering of targeted strategies for publicising and profiling national programs and associated talent.
Functions will also include:
- Media pitching
- Writing media releases
- Developing media strategies
- Working on creative briefs
- Crisis comms
What are we looking for in a Publicist? What’s important?
- Demonstrated experience as a Publicist, ideally within the media or entertainment industry
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- A creative and strategic thinker
- Experience in problem resolution and comfortable working to tight deadlines
- A passion for content viewing and being media and social media savvy
- Established media relationships
- Experience in crisis management
