Position Overview
The Territory Sales Representative hunts new businesses from existing and new customers within a given sales territory. You will achieve your targets by managing a pipeline of sales opportunities. This will be accomplished through following on qualified leads generated by the Demand Generation and Sales Development organisation and outbound lead generation from targeted prospect and customer lists.
You will gain experience interacting with clients of all levels, in multiple industries and across a broad geographical area. You will develop and qualify opportunities within your assigned territory. You will work with Sales Development Reps, field-based Partner Managers, Sales Development Executives, and Licence Compliance teams and with Channel Partners.
Responsibilities
- You will report to the Territory Sales Hub Manager and prioritize the highest opportunity target accounts within a defined territory
- You will work with Sales Development Representatives to ensure smooth follow-up on sales leads
- You will evaluate the customer profile, create value messaging, and target the main steps needed to accomplish the account plans
- Generate and close new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline within an assigned sales territory
- Identify decision-makers and influencers along with their corresponding needs, timelines, and budget
- You ensure that prospects' and customers' needs are understood and addressed by articulating how Autodesk solutions will accelerate their business
- Utilize telephone, email, and web-based communication as the primary means of connecting with customers
- Leverage field-based Territory Sales Executives
- Leverage relationships with channel partners to improve all territory performance to exceed customers' expectations
- Build the appropriate team for each opportunity coordinating Autodesk personnel including presales, consultants, and services to lead value into the client base
- Provide accurate billings forecasting and updates to sales managers
- Exceed monthly sales targets/quotas and KPIs
- Be a Trusted Adviser for customers and identify win/win situations
- Help customers and us develop success reference stories
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of quota-carrying sales experience including selling complex technology solutions in Inside sales/office-based sales experience
- Manage difficult situations while remaining upbeat and positive
- Team-oriented, Database management
- Experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders to influence strategic outcomes
- Experience managing multiple concurrent sales cycles
- Promote to improve your sales skills through on-the-job coaching, self-learning, and as defined by Autodesk sales career progression framework
- Experience exceeding sales targets/quotas and KPIs
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
