Racing and Sports (ASX:RAS) is seeking an exceptional PHP Developer to join our growing team of 67 people in AU & UK. What You’ll Be Doing

Your key responsibilities will include:

Building efficient, reusable, and testable PHP modules.
Integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end teams.
Solving complex performance and architectural challenges.
Writing clean, well-designed code that powers our core applications.
Conducting analysis of website and application requirements.
Troubleshooting and maintaining databases for optimised performance.
Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.

About You

You’re a tech enthusiast who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems with creative solutions. Your skills and knowledge include:

3–5+ years of proven experience as a PHP Developer.
Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (Laravel preferred).
Front-end expertise with JavaScript frameworks (React + Redux preferred).
Proficiency in cloud providers (AWS preferred) and CI/CD tooling.
Experience with scalable applications and relational databases (MYSQL/NoSQL, Redis preferred).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Bonus points if you have:

Knowledge of wagering systems, sports, and horse racing.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
