What You’ll Be Doing
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Building efficient, reusable, and testable PHP modules.
- Integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end teams.
- Solving complex performance and architectural challenges.
- Writing clean, well-designed code that powers our core applications.
- Conducting analysis of website and application requirements.
- Troubleshooting and maintaining databases for optimised performance.
- Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.
About You
You’re a tech enthusiast who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems with creative solutions. Your skills and knowledge include:
- 3–5+ years of proven experience as a PHP Developer.
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (Laravel preferred).
- Front-end expertise with JavaScript frameworks (React + Redux preferred).
- Proficiency in cloud providers (AWS preferred) and CI/CD tooling.
- Experience with scalable applications and relational databases (MYSQL/NoSQL, Redis preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Bonus points if you have:
- Knowledge of wagering systems, sports, and horse racing.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
