The Role :

As a Marketing Strategist at Smith Brothers Media, you will lead the creation of smart, innovative strategies that resonate with new client prospects, winning their hearts and minds. Your ability to devise compelling strategies will be crucial for attracting and retaining clients. You will collaborate closely with project and campaign managers, as well as marketing specialists, to bring your strategies to life. Supporting our best-in-class implementation teams with clarity and insights when needed, you will also seek and unlock new opportunities while they execute your strategic vision.

As a Marketing Strategist, you will be responsible for:

1. Sales Opportunities Led by Strategic Thinking:

Develop Smart Strategies for New Client Prospects: Collaborate with our Sales BDMs to create compelling, results-driven marketing strategies tailored to attract new clients by understanding their business goals and addressing their needs.
Win Client Trust: Build strong relationships with potential clients by demonstrating a deep understanding of their commercial objectives and providing insightful ideas that drive their success.
Assist Sales Team: Collaborate with the sales team to form strategic proposals that win new business, providing structured documentation and well-thought-out approaches.

2. Supporting Implementation Team:

Support Strategy Implementation: Work with marketing specialists and campaign managers to execute your strategies across digital and offline channels, including SEO, SEM, Paid Social, Display, Content Marketing, and Above the Line tactics like Outdoor Media.
Provide Insight and Clarity: Offer strategic insights to ensure seamless execution of new strategies and validate their effectiveness.
Analyse Data: Assess strategic performance and analyse data to refine marketing strategies, ensuring tactics are executed with excellence.

3. Innovation, Testing, and Continuous Learning:

Testing and Experimentation: Stay informed about the latest trends and in-platform technology by engaging in A/B testing and experimenting with new ideas to improve campaign performance.
Drive Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate new tactics into client strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Possess a commercial mindset with a solid understanding of how business and marketing objectives align with company strategy.
Excel at digesting business information and transforming it into smart, compelling proposals through excellent written communication skills.

To support implementation teams, you:

Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external clients.
Bridge the gap between vision and execution, ensuring strategies are implemented effectively.
Have a proven track record in briefing marketing strategies for eCommerce and lead generation industries, providing clear and concise briefings to the team to ensure strategy execution.
Are competent with digital reporting tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, and ad platforms to interpret campaign results.
Are open to feedback, willing to learn from specialists, and excited to share knowledge around commercial thinking.
