People and Culture Consultant

We are seeking a People and Culture Consultant on a 12-month fixed term contract, who can work across a multitude of HR specialties and business areas. This role will suit someone who works well in ambiguity and complexity with direct organisational change experience, and is able to quickly reprioritise role focus or key activities.
In this role you will work in partnership with your P&C colleagues (P&C Directors and Centre’s of Excellence) and senior business leaders to understand business needs and deliver value adding HR solutions to people related challenges and opportunities.
Your day in the life at Optus,
- Support P&C team to execute on initiatives that deliver strategic value and enable exceptional customer experiences aligned to the Annual Operating Plan.
- Provide coaching and support to leaders and challenge their thinking to build culture empowerment and leadership capability.
- Enable the business to drive change programs to ensure they result in sustained improvement in performance.
- Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies and improvements across P&C Professional Services that result in an enhanced employee experience.
Your skills to pay the bills,
- Four to seven years experience, with demonstrated ability in dynamic HR roles working in a matrixed organisation.
- Undergraduate degree in HR Management, organisational psychology, business or related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to establish relationships quickly with business stakeholders across all business areas.
- The ability to manage, lead and enable change, supporting others to deal with the uncertainty and ambiguity associated with change.
- Deep and broad knowledge of HR processes gained in a dynamic global organisation.
- Deep ability to understand and clarify stakeholder needs and where appropriate, provide solutions that add tangible value.
