About the Role
The Marketing Manager will contribute to and support the development and execution of the digital marketing and campaign strategy to increase brand awareness, drive leads and revenue for Avant Finance.
This includes:
• Working with GM - Marketing to develop campaign strategies and plans to assist in the delivery of commercial and residential growth targets.
• The development of integrated strategic marketing campaigns across various online and offline channels to support new client acquisition and Avant member penetration.
• Leading the campaign creative strategy (plan on a page), campaign content development, and briefing of creative campaign concepts to the design team.
• Working pro-actively with the GMs - Marketing, Residential and Commercial and Senior Manager Sales Operations to monitor campaign performance, lead volumes, and conversion rates to optimise future initiatives.

Key Accountability for the role includes:
1. Develop end-to-end marketing campaign strategies aligned with the overall marketing and business objectives to drive awareness and leads.
• Develop and execute promotional campaigns to target AF segments and achieve lead gen targets.
• Work collaboratively with GM - Marketing to agree ideal channel mix including owned channels (AF/Group), paid media, conferences, events, and partnerships.
• Design and deliver the campaign creative strategy plan on a page including campaign journey, test/learn plan, creative concept and required content/assets.
• Brief design and content colleagues or external agencies.
• Develop campaign landing pages and briefing materials for staff and third-party broker channel.
• Obtain compliance and legal sign-offs.
• Collaborate with Group Marketing to ensure marketing plans and activities are aligned and identify opportunities of mutual benefit or cross-sell opportunities with other Avant BU’s
2. Manage digital marketing strategy and execution
• Manage end-to-end digital go-to-market strategies and execution of plans across digital platforms to drive lead generation, promote the Avant Finance range of lending products and brokering services, while collaborating with stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes.
• Work with HAVAS (media agency) to implement paid digital media campaigns (including but not limited to: Google search & display ads, Meta ads, LinkedIn ads etc), conduct A/B testing for digital creative / text ads and continuously update, optimise and refresh based on learnings, and monitor spend versus performance - voicing any concerns with HAVAS.
• Represent Avant Finance as SME delegate in the Group Marketing Automation Project to improve client experience with scalable, personalised and automated omni-channel communication.
• Develop and execute solus emails and create and improve email journeys within the marketing automation platforms (Pardot & Braze), with content support from AF Marketing Specialist.
• Manage third-party paid email spots, incorporating suggestions from HAVAS.
• Collaborate with AF Platform Managers to support design of automated, omnichannel, customer-centric, buying lifecycle journeys.
• Work closely with Group Digital team to drive changes and improvements to the Avant Finance webpages.
• Manage marketing data requests with data team, implement on email / automaton platform and prepare for distribution
3. Measure and optimise campaign reporting across multi-channels.
• Evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness (lead flow, CPA, CPC)
• Conduct comprehensive analytics across platforms, extracting key insights for campaign optimisation and go-to-market strategies; develop and present proposals with actionable recommendations.
• Provide regular reporting and analysis on SEM activity performance
• Monitor website traffic and performance in GA4 and request relevant reports or changes from Avant digital team
• Analyse data insights, digital and market trends and best practices to optimise marketing channels and build successful strategies
4. Process and compliance management
• Follow risk and compliance processes that relate to campaign and content creation including: approvals processes, completion of mandatory process and related admin tasks.
• Report risks as soon as they arise, working with line 2 to risk as required to mitigate risks.
To be successful you will have
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar Marketing Manager role
• Experience within B2B environments, preferably financial services.
• Proven track record of developing and executing end-to-end multi-channel campaigns, including email, social media, search, display, webinar, events.
• Delivery of multi-channel campaigns on time and within budget including agency briefing, assets, spend and measuring success.
• Ability to analyse campaign performance, continuously test and optimise to improve ROI and conversion outcomes.
• Strong organisational and time management skills to oversee multiple campaigns simultaneously.
