About the Role
This role will have broad technical responsibilities across Digital systems including maintenance and improvement of the platform. This role will use programming expertise and have a deep understanding of modern web architectures and distributed systems. The role will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing Digital technology changes, working under the guidance and mentorship of Senior Sitecore Developers or Technical Lead.

Duties
It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Digital Asset Platform - Sitecore Developer you will:
- Design, develop, and implement efficient and scalable .Net solutions.
- Build out patterns and abstractions that emphasize the efficiency of sites and software.
- Manage the entire software development lifecycle including analysis, design, coding, testing, build, deployment, implementation, release and support for a product.
- Gather, refine and estimate specifications and requirements based on business and/or technical needs.
- Collaborate with infrastructure team, and other software developers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects and incidents related to Digital systems.
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases and participate in code reviews.
- Create technical documents and artefacts for developed software products.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other developers and business analysts in conceptualising and developing new software applications and enhancements and participate in project estimation and discovery sessions.
- Support front end and back-end deployments and other DevOps/ CICD activities.
Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft software development technologies (.NET, MVC, WCF, Web API, Entity Framework, SQL).
- Demonstrated working experience with UI frameworks (jQuery, React).
- Overall 5+ years of IT experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge in digital architecture and solution engineering and in entire SDLC Lifecycle including CI/CD.
- Proven Agile/ Scrum experience in a large enterprise organization.
- Strong knowledge of backend CMS and DXP systems like Sitecore/ Adobe Experience Manager/Other DXP.
- Proven experience in AWS services, SQL Server, Visual Studio, GIT, CI/ CD (Jenkins/ Bamboo).
- Familiarity with web services, APIs (SOAP and REST).
- Firm grasp of emerging digital technologies.
- Solid interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching and conflict resolution.
- Experience in leading development of Digital Solutions in Insurance domain is preferred.
- Tertiary qualification in IT/ Computer Science or Engineering.
