The Digital Health Trainer is an integral part of a team at Western Health, responsible for developing and delivering high-quality training programs and support to Super Users and End Users including both clinical and non-clinical staff across all Western Health campuses in Digital Health.
Trainers must possess a sound understanding of current workflows, ensuring they can effectively convey the impact of changes to end users. You must also have a keen interest in learning and training new and existing workflows.
Close collaboration with the Digital Health team, clinical staff, and stakeholders is crucial to provide ongoing support and training for users of Digital Health applications, aligning with Western Health's commitment to delivering safe, person-centered, and coordinated patient care.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in workplace training or education with the health sector
- Previous experience as a Digital Health Trainer in Public Health
- Prior experience in developing EMR Training materials including LMS content
- Previous experience with iPM, Telehealth and BOSSnet
- A clinical or informatics background
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with Oracle Health EMR or equivalent EMR implementations
- Well-developed presentation and training skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a complex team environment
- Ability to collaborate with external and internal stakeholders
- An understanding of the principles of adult learning theories
