The role: Digital Content Specialist
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Digital Content Specialist to join our team in Melbourne.
In this role you will build key relationships and collaborate with the Business Development Teams, Events & Marketing, Learning & Development Teams, Regional Video Conference Centre Teams and IT and IT Training Teams.
This role is crucial in managing the entire filming and post-production process, ensuring high-quality video content and seamless webinar delivery.
Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for:
Filming and Coordination:
- Managing the calendar and schedule for filming, recordings, and broadcasts.
- Scheduling filming, recordings, tech runs and preparing speakers for all sessions.
- Coordinating and scheduling technical support checks with webcast presenters.
- Managing and coordinating the filming of podcast series, talking head explainer videos, and Learning and Development tutorials.
Post-Production Editing:
- Ensuring video content meets quality expectations by monitoring sound, video, visuals, timing, and technology throughout the webcast process.
- Driving event testing, quality control, and post-event review practices.
- Handling post-production, editing, and content storage.
- Providing regional oversight of editing, including editing support and experience in reviewing processes/guidelines around recording and editing.
Webinars:
- Supporting the framework for webinar delivery by working with key teams.
- Ensuring a fit-for-purpose plan for webinar storage with relevant Practice Groups.
- Collaborating with Video Conference Centres (VCC) to ensure best practice webinar delivery.
- Training a support network across key internal business groups to cover peak periods and staff leave.
- Streamlining processes for all webinars for consistency and efficiency.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Coordinating, organising, and moderating client education sessions (e.g., CPDs).
- Exploring new opportunities in the digital content space.
- Promoting content by working with owners and communications teams to use platforms like Sharepoint, LinkedIn, and other digital media.
- Preparing regular reporting on production services and volumes, including supporting graphs, narrative for the business and regular updates for manager.
- Comply with WHS obligations and responsibilities in accordance with the requirements for this role as set out in legislation and the firms' policies and procedures.
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Professional webinar production experience and producing live sessions across various webinar platforms (MS Teams, Zoom & GoToWebinar platforms preferred)
- Experience in planning, set up, filming and managing presenters for recorded content e.g. Podcasts, Talking head videos and tutorials.
- Previous experience in using Premier Pro or Camtasia (editing software)
- Sound knowledge of editing tools within Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience in adding captions to videos, webinar recordings.
- Proficient in both PC and Mac
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Previous experience within a corporate or professional services environment.
