Base salary will be in the range $98,582 - $107,349 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 7)

About This Opportunity
UQ’s online presence is undergoing an exciting period of transformational change. We are transitioning our internal information to the Microsoft 365 platform to transform how our students and staff learn, work and collaborate at UQ. This includes establishing a new UQ intranet to deliver a wide array of news, information, services and support to UQ staff.
Working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, the Senior Digital Coordinator will coordinate the building of intranet sites while providing support and advice to a range of intranet stakeholders and editors.
Key responsibilities will include:
Coordinate the creation of new intranet sites and the migration of content to the new intranet platform.
Work with the project team to design and implement UQ's core intranet sites and services.
Provide best practice support, advice, and training to intranet editors and content owners.
Contribute to the development of standards and best practice for intranet, and support monitoring and quality assurance of intranet sites.
About You
Essential
Completion of a Bachelor degree in IT, web development or design or a related area and at least five years’ work experience in digital environments (such as websites, intranet and/or collaboration), OR an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training
Demonstrated experience in coordinating the delivery of intranet sites, websites or other digital products, including producing delivery plans, liaising with project team members and contributors, resolving issues and monitoring progress and quality.
Demonstrated experience working with digital content in digital content management systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong planning and organisational skills, including an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Demonstrated knowledge of user-centred design methodologies and best practices in websites, intranets and/or collaboration technologies.
Desirable
Experience working with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online.
Experience working with digital content in the higher education sector or another large, complex organisation.
You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment, and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks. Employer sponsored work rights are not available for this appointment.
