Key aspects of this role
- Recruitment - Independently manage the end to end recruitment process with assistance from key stakeholders in the business dependant on the role we’re hiring for. You’ll also maintain a strong candidate pool for certain roles.
- Onboarding & Ongoing learning - We put a heavy emphasis on a thorough onboarding (educating incoming team members on us, our industry and our product), it’s really important to us. This will be yours to further develop and maintain.
- Policies & procedures - Responsible for creating and maintaining all company policies and procedures and complying with legislation across Australia and the UK (+further expansion markets).
- Processes - Key in creating and implementing our key people processes such as KPI scorecards, performance reviews, 1:1s etc and hold managers and the team accountable.
- Social & Culture - We’re all responsible for scaling our culture, but you will be especially pivotal to scaling it well. Organising and planning team events and cultural calendar (online & in-person)
You’re ideal for the role if you are…
- Experience - 2+ years Recruitment, People & Culture or People/HR background at a high growth startup / environment (or transferable skills from roles such as Operations).
- Empathetic - You care about the people around you and go beyond face value to understand the unsaid. You’re able to build trust at every level.
- Systems, processes & efficiencies - You take the initiative if these don't yet exist & are motivated to help us build out more scalable ways of working
- Highly determined - You push to get things done with high velocity. Do things quickly, but do them once with a high degree of quality.
- Mission-driven - Motivated by joining a close-knit team, getting in at ground level and growing with a rapidly scaling startup
- A great communicator - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and leadership capabilities
- Policies - Useful if you have experience with Australian policies and experience with UK policies, payroll etc with ability to deliver advice on a range of HR issues
- Rapid Growth & Change - we’re growing quickly and things are always changing, you’re comfortable with adapting and supporting teams through change.

- If successful, we will check references & make you an offer!
All our interviews are recorded and shared internally with the CEO and hiring manager for the role. Recordings are then deleted once a hire has been made. We do this so that our team can make non-biased decisions on candidates to progress by watching an interview for themselves
