Overview of the role
This is a fantastic 12 month fixed term opportunity for someone who has experience as a junior buyer, contract administrator or similar, to further their career in IT procurement. You will gain extensive exposure across the business as the first point of contact for technology procurement queries, managing a shared mailbox with a high volume of requests daily. It is therefore essential that you are highly organised and a real team player.
The Contract Administrator is responsible for providing support to a diverse range of stakeholders across all Suncorp governance and Procurement processes, including outsourcing with third parties/suppliers.
You will be responsible for low spend/low risk sourcing, negotiation and contract management, reporting on compliance for strategic partners and the EGM community, and helping with annual compliance statements for internal and external stakeholders.

What you’ll do:
- Procurement and Contract management for low spend/low risk suppliers
- Manage the reporting cycle, reporting on compliance for strategic partners and the EGM, and assisting with annual compliance statements
- Support the business on risk assessments on new and changing supplier engagements
- Manage a shared mailbox, handling varied customer and stakeholders enquiries
- Ensure stakeholder needs for due diligence, risk assessment and continuing supplier monitoring are being accomplished.
- Identify, and implement contract management process improvements.
- Collaborate with all levels of the organisation in supporting the development and monitoring of governance artefacts and related documents.
- Provide advice and prepare correspondence, reports, submissions and presentations as required.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in Contract administration / management and Vendor Governance
- Advanced skills in Stakeholder Management
- Previous experience preparing reports and managing reporting cycle advantageous
- Advanced skills in influencing and negotiation; highly organised
- Good knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint
